Milwaukee Public Market is made of Milwaukee.

This identity brings together pieces of the city’s history and visual culture, from vintage brewery signs, street signage and the industrial character of the Historic Third Ward.

Just like the market itself, the brand is made up of many different parts coming together in one place.

It celebrates the businesses, people, and history that make the Public Market distinctly Milwaukee.

Grabbing inspiration from the Old Third Ward was a huge part of this project - It was important to me that the identity feel Rooted in the Third ward. Pulling shapes, textures, fonts from the surrounding area made LOREM IPSOM BLAH BLAH ??

Recreations of classic Milwaukee logos using the public market name elevated this identiy from a simple rebrand to a full fledged milwaukee movement. BLAH BLAH LOREM IPSOM???

Fun Fact - I took all these photos myself and made them into mockups!
